Jon Quam
This is special. It took a lot of precise work. Any slip-up and the whole thing could have gone down the tubes. He clearly started with the bird and then worked out from there, carving and gluing the other parts.
I picked this up in 2011, when it was new. It has been languishing in the vault since. Looking at Jon's work since, it appears he left this kind of effort in the rear-view mirror. Too bad, but you could own it.
Remember to check the dimensions - the photos are extreme close-ups.
